Ever since the first computer mouse was introduced in 1984, clicking has become an integral part of our digital lives. Whether you are playing games, surfing the web, or working with your computer – you're probably clicking pretty often! But how fast can you clicker?
The speed of clicking is an important factor for gaming competitions and can even help determine which gamer will win. So it's no surprise that some gamers have been able to reach incredibly high click rates - a little over 13cps (clicks per second). That's absolutely insane! Professional Counter-Strike players can also hit around 7-8 cps during intense moments of wildfire clicking.
So just how do they do it? While we all click with our index finger on our laptop or desktop's trackpad, professionals may use the clickers built into their gaming mice to help speed up their rate. Clickers are individual buttons on the side of a gaming mouse that help reduce the time required for one full press. This means that instead of pressing down and then releasing a mouse button for each click (which takes time), gamers can simply press and release the same button multiple times in quick succession without waiting - which then increases their overall clicks per second rate!
Another way to increase your clicking speed is by using keyboard macros – a combination of keys that gamers use to input repetitive commands quickly. Keyboard macros allow gamers to toggle through commands faster than manually inputting them one by one. Some gamers even take advantage of their fan base and have someone standing off screen that types-in the commands required for them during intense moments throughout a match!
Whichever Mouse/trackpad or CS/key Combos you use - practicing as often as possible is key when trying to increase your clicks per second rate. Trying different set ups and training yourself will improve hand eye coordination, muscle memory and timing - ultimately helping you achieve higher clicks per second speeds faster!
